Security Specialist

As a Security Specialist, you help our customers use cloud and cloud-native solutions securely. You assess risks, advise on mitigating measures, and implement solutions to protect systems. Whether it's security assessments, consultancy leading project-based assignments, your work is crucial to the security of our customers.

Your daily tasks

• Performing security assessments to identify risks in cloud environments.
• Advising clients on mitigation strategies and implementing secure systems.
• Working with tools such as AWS Audit Manager, Azure Cloud Defender, Nessus, and OpenScap.
• Collaborating with major clients such as KPN, Bol.com, and the Dutch Police.

You use your expertise to make cloud environments not only functional, but also resilient against threats.

You are passionate about security and enjoy solving complex problems in challenging environments. You like to stay up to date with the latest developments in cloud security and work well in a team that values collaboration and new ideas. You are proactive, eager to learn, and ready to make a real impact by keeping systems secure. You know how to secure cloud and cloud-native environments and have experience with standards such as STIG, CIS, and NIS. You communicate clearly and work well with both customers and colleagues. You are curious, continue to learn, and want to further develop your skills.

Ideally, you should bring the following:

• Experience with securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as STIG, CIS, and NIS, and validation tools such as AWS Audit Manager, Nessus, or Azure Cloud Defender.
• HBO (higher professional education) level of thinking and working.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer) are a major advantage.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, or CISSP are a plus, especially if you apply them in cloud environments.
