To respond to rapid market developments, international growth, and the increasing demand for flexible SaaS solutions, CarWise Group is preparing its platform for its next major phase of growth.
The foundation of this proven software consists of a comprehensive .NET desktop architecture, featuring complex and tightly integrated business processes and millions of lines of C# code. Traditional enterprise modernization projects of this scale typically take several years to complete.
The challenge: to reduce a multi-year project to a targeted one-year timeline and transform the software into a scalable, web-enabled platform—all without losing functionality, disrupting existing customers, or taking on the risks associated with a “big bang” rewrite.
One-Year Dual-Track Acceleration Program
SUE has joined as a strategic partner to accelerate this active, ongoing application modernization using a dual-track cadence. Under this approach, core decoupling and front-end development are carried out in parallel, reducing the turnaround time to a maximum of 12 months.
1. Track 1: Core Decoupling & V8 Shared Architecture
To ensure operational continuity, complex business logic is decoupled from the desktop interfaces and placed in UI-agnostic shared libraries (.NET V8). Track 1 is one to two sprints ahead of Track 2 and prepares the domain models without modifying the user interface.
2. Track 2: Web UI Transformation to Blazor
Track 2 closely follows Track 1 and builds modern Blazor web views and DevExpress web components. As soon as the clean shared libraries are available, Track 2 can use them immediately to develop the new web environment.
3. AI-Driven Acceleration
Across both tracks, SUE utilizes advanced, proprietary AI-driven migration tools. The AI automates pattern recognition, identifies UI logic dependencies, and accelerates code restructuring. As a result, months of manual refactoring work are reduced to a much shorter process.
4. Cloud Native & Data Control
The centralized container platform ensures maximum scalability and faster release cycles. At the same time, CarWise gains significantly more control over its own data.
