Junior DevOps Engineer

As Engineer Junior DevOps Engineer , you Engineer on exciting and challenging projects for clients such as the Dutch Police, Bol.com, and Booking.com. You will be the link between developers and operations, connecting developers to the systems on which their code runs and optimizing performance by aligning applications with system requirements.

Some daily responsibilities:

• Transforming existing applications into containers
• Keeping application stacks up to date and ensuring optimal performance
• Build CI/CD pipelines that streamline deployments and save everyone time
• Collaborating with developers and operations teams to seamlessly align code and systems

You will work hands-on with tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and cloud platforms such as AWS. It is a dynamic role in which no two days are the same, and you will have plenty of opportunities to showcase your talents.

You love technology and enjoy tackling challenges head-on. You are curious, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about working in a place where every day brings something new. You have an affinity for both development and operations, and you can solve problems quickly. You are a good communicator, work well in a team, and know how to keep things fun. Here's what we'd like you to bring with you:

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language
• Some experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems
• Familiar with version control tools such as Git or Subversion
• Some experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between developers and operations
