Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller who will take full responsibility for the financial administration of the SUE Group.

You will report directly to the Finance & Control Manager and work closely with the finance team. As a financial business partner, you will also support colleagues in sales, procurement, and project delivery. Together with a small, committed team and short lines of communication within the organization, you will steer the financial administration in the right direction.

We manage our entire finance function in-house. You will be responsible for the complete financial administration of the SUE Group and its subsidiaries.

Your daily tasks

• Managing financial and project administration
• Preparing consolidated monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparation of consolidated financial reports
• Preparing the annual accounts
• Optimizing the purchase-to-pay and sales-to-invoice processes
• Supporting M&A activities

In short: a broad, hands-on role in which you and your team are responsible for the entire financial operation.

You are someone who brings several years of hands-on experience in finance, ideally from a financial department, or as a (senior) assistant accountant in a public accounting or audit firm. Most importantly, you are ready for your next career move, eager to take on more responsibility, and fully committed to making an impact.

Skills & Knowledge

• Completed higher professional education or university education, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proactive and independent working style, with a genuine team spirit
• Dutch as mother tongue; a good command of English is an advantage

The Finance team is small but growing and consists of our CFO and another Financial Controller.
