Junior DevOps Engineer

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you’ll work on cool and challenging projects for clients like the Dutch Police, Bol.com, and Booking.com. You’ll be the glue between developers and operations, and you’ll connect developers with the systems running their code and optimize performance by aligning the application with system requirements.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities could include:

• Transforming existing applications into containers.
• Keeping application stacks updated and performing at their best.
• Building CI/CD pipelines that streamline deployments and save everyone time.
• Collaborating with developers and operations teams to align code and systems seamlessly.

You’ll be hands-on with tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and cloud platforms like AWS. It’s a dynamic role where no two days are the same, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to shine.

Here’s what we’d love you to bring to the table:

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language.
• Some experience working with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid understanding of Linux systems.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git or Subversion.
• Some experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Excellent communication skills to navigate between developers and operations.
