SUE took action with a clear plan: to build a CI/CD pipeline that would take care of the complexity. This pipeline automates the creation and integration of new Execution Environments. Container images are used to execute Ansible Playbooks. With this solution, new Ansible versions and updated collections could be integrated easily and in a controlled manner.
Once the Execution Environments were built, they were automatically added to the Ansible Automation Hub and were immediately available within the Ansible Automation Platform. This approach greatly simplified management and reduced the likelihood of errors, resulting in a more reliable and efficient CI/CD process.
