TechTalk: LISP programming

LISP Programming

What makes a programming language a Lisp, and what makes Lisp a programming language? In this TechTalk, we explore the essence of one of the most enduring and enigmatic languages in the history of computing. In this talk, we move from the tangible to the abstract: we start with hands-on examples from a concrete LISP implementation and end with the philosophical roots that make LISP so beloved by hackers and theorists. Along the way, we discover recurring themes of structure and simplicity as we travel through data structures, virtual machines, grammars, and symbols. A journey for both the practical programmer and the curious mind.

Register now for this session on August 7 at SUE, De Ooyen 9 in Geldermalsen! After the TechTalk, you are welcome to join us for a delicious dinner and drinks.
