Vacancy Cloud Engineer (Senior)

Do you like to play an important role in managing and optimizing cloud systems? Then we are looking for you as our new Senior Cloud Engineer.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you work on a consultancy or project basis on a technical, challenging assignment for clients such as the Police, the Tax Authorities and NXP. You will work on designing and setting up cloud solutions, migrating on-premise workloads to the cloud, automating the set-up of a cloud environment, setting up (cloud) networks and hardening cloud services or environments. You will work with technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or Cloudformation. In terms of assignments you can think of:

  • Advising, supervising and executing a migration from an on-premise customer environment to a cloud environment;
  • Setting up an S3 environment that must be used for archiving sensitive data that must comply with strict compliance rules.

Who are you?

  • You have knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code;
  • You have several years of experience with one or more IaC tooling to set up automated cloud environments. Think of tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager or GCP Deployment Manager);
  • You have several years of experience with one or more automation tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.
  • You have knowledge of a scripting language such as Bash, Python or PowerShell.
  • You have good knowledge of cloud concepts and a certificate such as SysOps (AWS), Azure Administration, Cloud Engineer (GCP) or CompTIA Cloud + is an advantage;
  • You have knowledge of Operating Systems, preferably Linux;
  • You have knowledge of networking;
  • You have knowledge of virtualization and container technologies.
